^_^ Hey everyone! I've finished making a couple different skins and am currently working on the footer. Shouldn't be too long before it's done. :D

The boards are all finished, and the plot is ready to begin. We are still looking for a healer for Aurora's Faithful. Thanks! <3

CURRENT MOON
Welcome, stranger, to the Pawprints of Aurora. Do you run with the loyal RainClan? Or the mysterious Aurora's Faithful? Or do you run with no other, a loner of rogue? Or are you perhaps a kittypet, caught in the centre of this chaos? Whichever group you find yourself in, you have entered the very teeth of the fray. But will you fight or flee...?
That is your choice, outsider.

the plot
The great river running through RainClan territory had always been treacherous. Occasionally it would flood, and swallow the camp and territory in water. Many cats would drown or perish of starvation. In those long, painful moons they would live like rogues on neutral grounds, were prey was scarce and competition great. So when the year's spring brought a flood it was not unexpected. The cats waited, waited for the water to shrink back into its churning black river. But it did not. The river claimed more and more land each day, so that RainClan had no place to call home. The other clans were hostile, so they would get no help from them. RainClan's leader, deputy and elders spoke seriously of the matter, and eventually it was decided that the clan would evacuate the flooded territory. They would leave the familiar stretch of land and strike out for a new home, many, many lopes away. The journey began as summer reared. Though frail, hungry and tired, RainClan were determined to complete their quest. The first few days were not too trying; only the elders and kits found themselves growing weary. But after a moon every cat was pawsore and thoroughly exhausted, and all hope vanished. Many kits and elders died of starvation, as only small portions of food could be shared around the clan. Even the toughest warriors felt death tugging at their paws. RainClan felt despair, knowing that they would never complete the journey alive. The clan stopped in early autumn, sheltering on the lip of a forest. The clan were shocked as light began to streak the sky; green, indigo, blue. The aurora was a beautiful, shimmering ray of hope, a sign from StarClan. This struck hope in the hearts of RainClan, and so they contined with their journey. Every night from then on, RainClan followed the direction in which the aurora's expanse had pointed. In mid winter they reached their destination; a large stretch of territory, coated in pines and prey-rich forests, apparently empty. RainClan, ecstatic with joy and praising StarClan, settled in this territory. They became strong again, and many more kits were born to replace those had had perished on the grueling journey. These kits were then apprenticed and made warriors, so that the cycle continued. But the peace did not last more than ten moons or so. A young apprentice by the name of Aurapaw, born on the new territory, awoke one night to gaze upon the shining colours of the aurora. This was not unusual; it graced the skies every moon or so in RainClan's new territory. But this night it was different; twisted into one direction. Being insatiably curious and adventurous, Aurapaw left camp to discover what the aurora had discovered. The foolish young tom followed the ghostly light of the aurora to the other side of the territory. There, he was shocked and horrified to discover that another group of cats had made their home there. They called themselves 'Aurora's Faithful', and played host to a huge, spiraling twoleg building which they called 'The Shrine'. In terror, Aurapaw fled to his own territory and informed his clan all he had seen. As the moons flew by, RainClan discovered more about their mysterious neighbours... The strange clan had inhabited the forest for more than one hundred moons. They do not follow StarClan; they follow the rule of a goddess they call Aurora. Now a warrior, Auraflame discovers a shockingly disturbing piece of information about the strangers. The moment a kit is born, they are taken by the tribe's leader to the very peak of the Shrine, where they are held over the Spire. This is done to every kit. The strange clan call it 'acceptance'. If, on that night, the aurora does not grace the skies, every kit in the litter will be tossed from the spire as a sacrifice. But RainClan do not know the most disturbing thing about the strangers; they are watching them, all the time. Now a she-kitten has been born in RainClan, without parents nor kin. This kitten, Decemberkit, has attracted the attention of the strangers. Excited, the leader of Aurora's Faithful visited the RainClan camp to recite an ancient prophecy... When water swallows land hearts and souls are torn only then shall Aurora be reborn. A coat white as snow shall mark her clear she will return without anger or fear. To capture all souls her grace will call Aurora's paws to rule over all. Terrified by the prophecy, RainClan drive the strangers from their territory. But the tribe will return to visit the kitten as she grows. But does the goddess Aurora really lie slumbering in Decemberkit's heart?

[ ]x the camp (8 sub-boards)
The RainClan camp is a beautiful place, come winter or spring, summer or autumn. To get inside, you must leap down a small ravine of rocks. The camp is a large clearing, surrounded by walls thick with bramble. It is fringed with pine trees, which are laced with rowan and birch and oak. The dens are large bushes. The leader's den is an old oak tree, struck and hollowed out by lightning. The medicine cat's den can be found by going through a tunnel in the stone walls of the camp. In a small cave, the medicine cat lives. The camp is not overly large, but big enough to hold the clan.

[ ]x the territory (4 sub-boards)
The RainClan territory is mainly concealed by pines, but as they are the only clan in this land they have plenty of space. They stick to their borders at all times, unless prey is extremely scarce. Their territory is filled with woodland prey, and a lake provides fish.

[ ]x the camp (6 sub-boards)
The camp of Aurora's Faithful is very large, much larger than that of RainClan. It is a vast field, dotted with bushes. Flowers are scattered everywhere, inside dens, in branches, on grass. Beside the camp stands the Shrine of Aurora, a tall, spiralling building built by twolegs years and years ago. The camp is situated directly below where the aurora stains the sky some dark nights. Prey is stored inside the Shrine; where most of Aurora's Faithful sleep.

[ ]x the territory (4 sub-boards)
The territories of Aurora's Faithful are vast; much larger than that of RainClan. They're borders stretch right up to touch a line of trees seperating them from the RainClanners. The territory of Aurora's Faithful is abundant with prey; fish and birds and woodland animals. Pine and ash trees dominate the land here, though some others do show here and there. Somewhere deep within the territories runs a river; it's source, a large waterfall. The territories of Aurora's Faithful are truly beautiful; but hide the terrible secrets of the mysterious group.

[ ]x lunar cavern
Lunar Cavern is situated past the twolegplace, over the Thunderpath, in a large rise of silver rock. Inside, the First Star can be found. It is a large craggy rock; when moonlight touches it, it flashes bright white. This is where the leader of RainClan can come to speak with StarClan.

[ ]x the ring of willows
The Ring of Willows is a clearing just outside RainClan territory. It is, as the name suggests, ringed in tall, silvery willows. This is because it is near to the Crescent River. This is where RainClan gather every full moon, despite the absence of any other clans - they do this out of faith to StarClan, and hope that perhaps one day another clan will form.

loner lands
[ ]x demon's haven
Demon's Haven is an abandoned twoleg nest on the outskirts of the territory of Aurora's Faithful. It is home to many cats, all tusseling for space, and also a popular resting spot for travellers. But most non clanners here seem to share a hate for Aurora's Faithful, and so none of them can be found here; except Veronica, the mysterious one.

[ ]x the border
The Border is the thin strip of pine trees which seperates the forest from the twolegplace. This strip does not belong to RainClan, so loners and rogues often make their home's here. But there is not much space here, so tread carefully - you might accidently stray onto somebody's territory. And there aren't very many friendly cats around here.

[ ]x obsidian glade
Obsidian Glade is the largest place in all of the loner lands. It is a clearing, at the very end of The Border. In its center is a large silver rock. Legend says that, moons ago, it fell from the sky and settled here. Many loners and rogues have tried to take his place as there own before, but none have suceeded. Recently, the Rebel Group have been camping here.

[ ]x the thunderpath
The Thunderpath runs through the twolegplace, stopping where the forest begins. It is still the source of many monsters, and twolegs. It is also a danger to cats visiting the Lunar Cavern; as it must be crossed.

[ ]x holly road
Holly Road is a long road of many twoleg nests. It is rather pleasent here, but also quite crowded. Many kittypets live here with their twolegs, and most are friendly and relaxed about their territory.
Moderator: x december

[ ]x jayfeather lane
Jayfeather Lane is a small section of the twolegplace, leading off from the main part like a stream from a river. The nests here are larger and more spaced out, and the gardens here much bigger and more lavish. Fewer twolegs live here; but is a beautiful place.
Moderator: x december

[ ]x the alley
The Alley is, as is to be expected, an alley leading from Holly Road. It is dank and dark in there, filled with overflowing rubbish bins and discarded twoleg objects. Strays live here, in damp boxes and bags. Occasionally the Pound check here, taking many cats away.
Moderator: x december
00
[ ]x the pound
The Pound is a large building on the outskirts of the twolegplace. Stray cats are taken here, and kittypets too, if they happen to lose their collar. It is a horrible place; if the captured cats are not rehomed after a certain amount of time, they will never see the daylight again.

[ ]x the lands of hope
The Lands of Hope is where true cats will go after they have been laid to rest. StarClan gathers here, and it is a place of peace and serenity. Here, guardians can watch over their charges without hinderance, and others can simply relish the harmony of afterlife.
Moderator: x december

[ ]x the crags of despair
The Crags of Despair are the very opposite of The Lands of Hope. They are harsh land of bleak grey mountains and rock. This is where cold hearted cats go after they have been laid to rest. Every day brings more pain to these traitors, pain enough to breed regret.

[ ]x aurora's reaches
Aurora's Reaches is the patch of sky where the spirits of deceased members of Aurora's Faithful gather. It is said that Aurora waits here for them, but as they have no contact between the living and dead, this is no more than a legend - at least, for those still breathing.
