the RULES
[li] Activity is key. If you join poA, you must be active. It is not fair to join, then leave us all to tie up your loose ends. You should be on at least every other day, if possible. [/li][li] Your characters must all be warriors based. Unless it is part of a certain plot, foxes, badgers, or anything else, are not allowed. [/li][li] Please do not join if you are just doing it to spam. If you want to advertise your own site, please use the advertising board, not the chat box or other boards. [/li][li] If you want to audition for a high position, then that is fine, as long as you know you are going to be very active. It causes a lot of complications if you win a high position, then go inactive. [/li][li] Be polite to all members, especially administrators and clan leaders. You should be respectful to everyone. If an argument does occur, try to solve it calmly over PM. If it goes too far, do not drag others into the argument. An administrator will sort the argument out. If the disagreement comes up again, the members involved will all recieve warnings. If it is still not resolved, bans will be issued. [/li][li] No chat speak. Not in the chat box, or on the boards, or anywhere. Also, please what your punctuation. There is a spell check at the bottom of every post; please use it if you need to. Badhi shadow, how r u?GoodHi Shadow. How are you?[/li][li] Characters are not allowed wings, or jewellery, or anything out of the ordinary. Kittypets may have collars and small accesories, but that is it. [/li][li] You are allowed a maximum of twenty characters. If you want to go over that, PM an administrator and they may give you permission, as long as you are active with all of your other characters. Each character should be roleplayed equally. [leaders, deputies and medicine cats are excluded from this] [/li][li] Leaders must chose their deputies and medicine cats through audition. These auditions must be fair; don't pick your friend's biography if their's is not as good as one by a person you don't know. [/li][/ul][/sub]

[li] Absolutely no godmoding or powerplaying. This is not acceptable at all. Example; BadAspenfur ran forward, fur on end. He threw himself at Kestrelflower, teeth bared. His claws snagged in her fur, allowing him to pull himself up onto her back. His weight forced her to the ground, so that she could not move. Aspenfur then sank his teeth into Kestrelflower's neck and shook her head from side to side, growling.GoodAspenfur ran forward, fur on end. He threw himself at Kestrelflower, his claws just snatching onto her fur. He landed awkwardly on her back, scrabbling for a hold. The tabby tom raisesd his paws to strike her back, hoping that they would hit home.[/li][li] All posts must be at least one paragraph long. They do not have to be a novel or anything, but at least ten sentences. It is sometimes hard, everybody knows that, but please don't call laziness 'writer's block'. xP[/li][/ul][/sub]

[li] Kittens must be six moons old before they can become apprentices. You do not really have to wait six months for your kit to be apprenticed; about two weeks will be alright. If you have been inactive, or absent, you will have to wait longer so that you can get used to acting your kit again. [/li][li] Before your apprentice characters become warriors, they must have done these things. - Been on one patrol. - Had at least three training sessions. - Visited the Moonstone with their clan leader. - Been shown the borders and their territory. - Learnt how to hunt and fight. - Been to a Gathering. - Been assessed by their mentor. Your character must have been an apprentice for at least three weeks before they can become a warrior. [/li][li] A warrior can only become clan deputy if they have mentored an apprentice before. [/li][li] You must consider your character's age and body structure during a fight. A kit will not be able to beat an apprentice, generally. A sturdy cat would be slower than a lithe cat, but stronger. Keep things like this in mind. [/li][li] When you name your character their name must follow the warriors' name rules. A kit could be Cloudkit, Dawnkit, Thistlekit, an apprentice could be Bramblepaw, Skypaw, Brownpaw, a leader could be Thistlestar, Whitestar, Harestar, etc. [/li][li] Your character's age must follow the age rules in the warriors' books. A kit will be apprenticed on their sixth moon (month). A apprentice will generally become a warrior on about their twelfth moon. [/li][li] Try not to use the same names as other members. It gets complicated if there are two Icepaw' or three Thornkit's. [/li][li] Always stick to the biography form.[/li][/ul][/sub]
