A figure burst from the bright foliage of the afternoon, silver hairs shining out individually, especially so due to the water droplets shimmering on her pelt. Celestialstar halted when she arrived in camp, looking left and right and the hustle of her Clan. She smiled and nodded to each member of RainClan as she passed them, waving her tail left to right. She had defeated Carawaypaw in the race but she would still allow the she-cat to declare the ceremony of RainClan.
Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here by the Angel's Obelisk for a Clan Meeting.

Carawaypaw burst into the camp, her face bright with excitement and hope. It fell when she spotted the slender form of Celestialstar. She was too late. Beaten. The lean brown tabby pouted shamelessly, letting her tail droop. She pricked her ears, waiting for the familiar call, and trying to salvage the excitement of the earlier news. Carawaypaw began to grow impatient, until something clicked in her brain. Striking forward and taking a deep breath, she threw out her chest and yowled as hard, as loud as she could. "Let all those cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Angel's Obelisk for a clan meeting!" Carawaypaw then sat back, a proud, smug look on her face, and waited for the ceremony to start.

In the shadows of the camp a dark colored tom appeared slowly, cautiously looking at Carawaypaw, not Celestialstar, announcing for the Clan to gather. His piercing yellow eyes narrowed to tiny slits as he stared, more like glared at the proudly smugging she-cat but then he looked away, feeling guilty for feeling jealous of her. After all his moons of being a tortured kit and apprentice he never was close to his Leader or given any privileges. He hissed softly at the ground and continued out of his normal 'sunning spot' in camp. This wouldn't be a meeting involving him. He was way to young to have his own apprentice or anything like that. Sighing softly, he settled himself as far away of Carawaypaw was possible.
And from the Apprentice's den a large, warrior sized tomcat padded out into the sunlight. A huge grin was on his face as he stared at Celestialstar perched on Angel's Obelisk but then he looked at Carawaypaw and he looked at her questionably for a moment before padding over to sit beside her. He looked around for Peacockpaw, his best friend but settled for the other apprentice. At least he sort of knew her. "Hey Carawaypaw," he mewed softly, smiling brightly.

Celestialstar smiled at Carawaypaw and nodded.
"Greetings, RainClan!" the she-cat began. Her voice was projected without being obnoxious, similar to a bird singing louder and louder. The silver she-cat sat pristinely upon the Obelisk and nodded to the gathered members.
"I have some announcements. Toweringpaw, Peacockpaw, Carawaypaw, and Ebonypaw, I would like you four to come forward."
The silver she-cat turned her elegant smile to the quartet of apprentices about to receive some mentors for their training into warriors.

Carawaypaw continued glancing around with pride in her eyes, her brown tabby body in a ready stance. Today she was going to become a proper apprentice! The lithe she-cat caught Crowtalon glaring at her and bared her teeth at him, ears flat. She didn't care what he thought, or anyone, really. She was her own cat. She didn't need him. Carawaypaw turned her head as a voice sounded beside her. She found she had to look up - Toweringpaw. "Hi Toweringpaw!" she mewed enthusiastically, forgetting about Crowtalon immediatly. The mud-coloured tabby's green eyes sparkled with excitement as Celestialstar spoke her name, and she pranced forward, tail and chin high.
Peacockpaw padded serenely from the shadows. It was almost as though he had been part of their mass, rather than a living thing. The pale blue-grey tom walked slowly towards the quivering Carawaypaw and Toweringpaw. Peacockpaw paused to give Crowtalon a nod as he passed, before approaching his friend. The young tom smiled a wise smile at Toweringpaw. "Hello, my friend," he mewed, deep voice friendly. Peacockpaw looked up at Celestialstar, clear blue eyes pleasently surprised at her announcement. The calm apprentice walked to Carawaypaw's side at a much slower rate, his face and stance dignified.

Crowtalon rolled his eyes when Carawaypaw looked back at him but then gave her a smug look. "Show off," he murmured to himself so no one could hear but then he turned his gaze to Peacockpaw entering the clearing. Crowtalon gave him a small smile though it did not reach his eyes and he dipped his head to the mature apprentice before returning his gaze to Celestialstar.
Toweringpaw smiled brightly at Carawaypaw when she acknowledged him and turned his gaze to Celestialstar for a split second. But out of the corner of his eye he saw Peacockpaw approaching and his smile grew even wider. "Hey Peacockpaw," he whispered to his best friend just a second before his Leader spoke and when she did speak, Toweringpaw followed Carawaypaw and Peacockpaw up to stand at the foot of the Obelisk. But he had a secret... He didn't want to be a warrior. He wanted more than anything tom learn the ways of a Medicine Cat.

Celestialstar looked down maternally on all of the apprentice who had come forth. She nodded to each of them and then lifted her maw to address the Clan. "These four are ready for mentors!" she declared.
"Spicetalon, you are ready for an apprentice. You will be Peacockpaw's mentor. Spicetalon, you are loyal and wise beyond your years. I expect you to pass on all your skills to Peacockpaw, so that he may be an honorable warrior of RainClan."
She allowed the new mentor and apprentice to touch noses before she continued.
"Cedarshadow, you are ready for an apprentice. You will be Carawaypaw's mentor. Cedarshadow, you are my counsel on everything to do with fighting. I expect you to pass on all your skills to Carawaypaw so that she may be an honorable warrior of RainClan."
She smiled at the lithe warrior tom, who nodded his brown and black head to Celestialstar in deep respect before turning to Carawaypaw and touching noses.
"Crowtalon, you are ready for an apprentice. You will be Ebonypaw's mentor. Crowtalon, you are young but wise for your youth. I expect you to pass on all your skills to Ebonypaw that he may be an honorable warrior of RainClan."
She turned her head to the black toms, nodding to them both.
"And Toweringpaw, you have waited long for a mentor. I will mentor you myself, to pass on my skills so that you may one day become worthy of stepping in the pawprints of your ancestors."
She leapt down and touched noses with the large tom, smiling gently towards him.

Crowtalon's mouth fell open with shock as he was made into a mentor but nodding swiftly to his leader, he trotted over to Ebonypaw and touched noses with the black tom. "This will be interesting," he chuckled quietly, sitting down beside the younger tom. He wasn't sure he was ready for an apprentice but he just nodded as the rest of the other cats got their mentors or apprentices.
Toweringpaw smiled as he friends were given their mentors and he waited for his name to be heard. When he heard his name he was shocked to find out that his mentor was Celestialstar herself. Toweringpaw blinked back with surprise but he nodded and touched noses with his new mentor before going back to sit in the crowd with his friends. He smiled at Peacockpaw and Carawaypaw. "Congrats, guys," he mewed, smiling brightly.

[ooc]SO sorry for being inactive everyone! I shall try and get on more now ^^.
[bic]Ebonypaw slipped into camp, looking around for someone to sit with. He didnt really know anyone that well so nervously sat by the other apprentices, smiling at all of them in turn. The black-pelted tom pricked his ears when his name was called and stepped forwards with the others. He was surprised to be given Crowtalon as a mentor, the tom was only a young warrior himself, but he was grateful for any mentor really and he knew Crowtalon was a good warrior. He stepped forwards towards ther dark brown and black tom, touching his nose to his mentors. He smiled as Crowtalon spoke and dipped his head after looking into the bright golden yellow eyes of his mentor. He sat quietly beside the tom but continued to look around. Ebonypaw was confused. I wonder where Decemberkit is...
