This is where you must post if you would like to audition for the position of RainClan medicine cat. You must be a good roleplayer; the best biography will be chosen as the winner. To audition just post your biography here, using the form indicated like before. You must fulfil the medicine cat requirements in your bio or it's an automatic disqualification. I value quality over quantity.
Good luck :3

You can audition for Veronica and medicine cat at the same time. You just can't audition for say, leader of RainClan and cheif of Aurora's Faithful, at the same time.

Name: Dawneye
Age: 24 moons
Gender: she-cat
Clan: RainClan
Rank: medicine cat
Short Description: Fiery orange tabby with yellow eyes.
Description: The main color of Dawneye's pelt is like a shaft of sunlight, a very bright and deep yellow. It is quite easy to pick her out in a group of cats because of her bright coat. The sunlight is striped with a dark reddish brown, like autumn leaves. The have bits of dark brown flecking them, making her stripes look messy. Her pelt isn't very long, but it is plenty long enough for her to fluff it up and keep herself warm. It isn't the most shining pelt or the glossiest, being a little on the duller side, though she cares for it just as well as any cat cares for its pelt. She has a deep, long scar over her shoulder, the origins of will be explained in her history, but besides that her body is completely covered with her pelt.
Dawneye's large, muscular, and strong body make her look more like a seasoned warrior than a medicine cat. Her wide paws are equipped with strong claws that she won't hesitate to use if needed. Her legs, though they are not short, are very large boned, making her slower than some cats. She is altogether a large boned cat, her chest being wide and her neck very thick.
Her head is large and as big-boned as the rest of her body. She has ears that are small in proportion to the rest of her body, though they are pretty much the same size as another cat's might be. She has a scar running from her right ear to the right side of her chin, injuring her right eye in the process. She cannot see out of that eye hardly at all and there is a glaze that always covers it. Her eyes are yellow with a little bit of orange flaring out from the pupil, looking much like the dawn sky.
Personality: Dawneye is loving, gentle, and caring. She has a soft heart despite her tough looking exterior. She has had a knack with herbs since she was a young cat. She is good at keeping a cool head, despite whatever chaos may be going on around her. She is not in the least faint of heart, not minding blood at all, which is good since she is a medicine cat. It is hard to make her angry, and some aren't sure if they have ever really seen her angry, though she can be a tad bit impatient at times.
Fighting is not her highlight of a day, she doesn't like it much at all. But just because she dislikes it doesn't mean she won't deal out some blows as needed to any cat, big or small. She fights only to defend herself or another clanmate, and doesn't use her claws unless she really needs to. Her strong paws alone can knock an offending cat away easily.
She is generally very laid back, though her tongue can be pretty sarcastic at times.
History: Dawnkit was born in RainClan, to two loyal RainClanners. Her mother's name was Snowdrop and her father was Inkpelt. She had two sisters who she was very attached to. One day while Dawnkit was sitting outside of the nursery and she was shoved to the side as one of the queens shot past her to the medicine cat's den. Dawnkit hadn't the slightest idea what was going on and so she just stayed where she was, watching the sunset. When the queen came back with the medicine cat, whose name was Ashnose, she still suspected nothing. It wasn't until she heard violent coughing that she got suspicious. She got to her small paws and padded into the nursery to find her mother laying very still and one of her sisters coughing. Her sisters were taken to the medicine cats den while another queen watched over Dawnkit. She was too young to understand then that her mother was dead. After a few days one of her sisters returned to the nursery, but she never saw her other sister again.
As she grew and found that her mother and younger sister had died of greencough she decided that she wanted to learn some more about herbs. She began hanging out more and more at the medicine cats den, though she should have still been at the nursery. She enjoyed slipping away and watching Ashnose sort herbs and such.
When she was six moons old she was made apprentice to a she-cat named Mintbreath and though she was glad to be training to be a warrior, she still spent a lot of time at the medicine cats den. Whenever she had spare time she would be helping Ashnose with herbs, and Ashnose quickly saw that Dawnpaw had a knack with herbs. Dawnpaw was eventually named medicine cat apprentice and was taken to Moonstone. She thought that Moonstone was absolutely amazing and she was accepted by StarClan to be apprentice to Ashnose.
During an attack on their camp by rogues, Ashnose was killed and Dawneye maimed. Dawneye was named medicine cat of RainClan, accepted by StarClan and trained by Ashnose. The first time she went to Moonstone for the medicine cat meeting she was admittedly a little scared to be going without Ashnose, but she now does her job without fear.
RP Example: Sunlight and autumn leaves seemed to be mixed in a kit's pelt outside the nursery. The kit was sitting, tail wrapped neatly around her front paws, facing West. Her already sunny pelt was bathed with the last few rays of the sun as it set. Dawnkit's eyes were half-closed as she breathed in the sweet air. Everything seemed to be perfect in the world that that moment, nothing could go wrong.
So you could imagine her surprise when she was nearly toppled over. She caught herself at the last minute however and stared after Mottlefoot, an expecting queen, moving at a surprising pace towards Ashnose's den. Dawnkit blinked uninterestedly as she began grooming her chest. Her ear twitched in slight irritation as she heard pawsteps approaching. Was there to be no peace? She looked up to see Ashnose and Mottlefoot hurrying up to the nursery. She wasn't really surprised, for really, why else would Mottlefoot go running off to the den? One of the kits probably were shivering or coughing. That had happened a day or two earlier and nothing had happened.
Dawnkit jumped as she heard a loud coughing in the nursery. She turned and walked into it with a frown, now what? She saw her mother laying on the ground. It didn't really worry her, she was probably just sleeping, but why was she so still? She didn't have long to contemplate it for she was pulled to the side as her sisters were run out of the nursery. She recognized Slatekit coughing, and Heatherkit just hanging limply. Now Ashnose was nudging her.
'How do you feel? Do you feel sick at all?'
Dawnkit put her head to the side but then shook it. 'No.'
Ashnose nodded and picked her up and deposited her next to Coalear and her kits. Dawnkit sighed, not really caring why she was there, for she was feeling tired now. She settled down next to the kits and closed her eyes, letting sleep overwhelm her.

I was blessed as Camelliabreeze M or F? Female; She-cat I've been alive for 30 moons I stay loyal to Rainclan I rank in my clan as a Medicine Cat take a glance in my direction A small golden-brown Bengal tabby with dark stripes and celery eyes.[/center] this is only the surfaceWhen you look at Camelliabreeze, you first notice her fur. If she lived with twolegs, she would be called a Bengal cat. She has golden-brown fur, like a lion. The fur on her back is darker. Stripes cover her whole body, except for her stomach. Then, you notice how small she is. Her mother was small, and Camelliabreeze seemed to have inherited that trait. Camelliabreeze uses her small size to her ability when treating patients. Lastly, you see her celery colored eyes. She's not sure why they're that color, since her mother had hazel eyes, and her father had blue eyes. One thing about her eyes, they show her emotions better than her face do. i am not what i seemCamelliabreeze is a gentle cat. She treats her clanmates with kindness. Everyone of her patients can agree with that. She is very softspoken, and talks quietly. But she isn't like that all the time. Sometimes, at night, she wanders away from camp and into the territory to cry. She cries about all the loved ones she lost. While she pretends it doesn't bother her anymore, it really does. She knows her eyes often protray her emotions, even if her face doesn't. Sometimes, a cat will notice her sad eyes or a quiet sigh in the middle of a conversation. They might ask why, and she'll say "nothing," but it is something. [Ahem, see next paragraph.] the past that haunts me everydaycamelliakit;Camelliabreeze's parents, Lilypetal and Spectercloak, knew each other all their lives. Spectercloak was Lilypetal's mentor. Lily'paw' was his first apprentice. During her apprenticeship, they both became very close. Even though they were moons apart, they still loved each. No one could deny that. Not too long after Lilypetal became a warrior, she bore his kits. There were three she-kits and one tom. Besides Camellia'kit', they was Lavenderkit, Rubykit, and Ironkit. They were the only kits in the nursery at the time, so they all were best friends, as well as siblings. Camellia'kit' was mostly a quiet kit, who sometimes sat out on games of Tag or in playfights to think quietly by herself. camelliapaw;Camelliabreeze was trained to be a warrior before she became medicine cat. She trained as an apprentice along with her siblings. While they began to mature, Camellia'paw' began to notice that her brother, Ironpaw, was changing. He became meaner, rougher. He defied most, and challenged anyone who thought he should be punished. He and Rubypaw, their sister, began to fight a lot. They would disagree on many things, petty or not. One day, Ironpaw came back from hunting dragging Rubypaw's body. He looked very sad, and even teared up a little. He said he was hunting when he found Rubypaw fighting off a fox. He tried to help her, but she was killed anyway. He even had scratches of his own. But Camellia'paw' knew that was a lie. She went back to where the fight had been by herself, and didn't find a trace of fox scent anywhere. Ironpaw killed Rubypaw himself. Camelliapaw mourned for her sister greatly, and she often left in the night go cry by herself. Camelliapaw kept quiet about her suspicions, but she never looked at her brother the same again. camelliabreeze [warrior];Soon enough, Camelliabreeze, Lavendersprig, and Ironstep became warriors. They were known as some of the best as they got older. Camelliabreeze's brother, however, began to seek out darker paths. He often snuck out at night with no explanation. He spoke to no one. He became more withdrawn everyday. But he was still one of the best warriors, especially when it came to fighting. Camelliabreeze often wished he would change his attitude, but he never did. She wished to voice her suspicions, bu no one would believe her. Not until, that is, he killed their parents. Their parents, by then, were senior warriors. One day, in greenleaf, he and both parents went out on patrol. Camelliabreeze knew something was up. He never spoke to them, and suddenly one day he volunteers to patrol with both of them? She was suspicious, but most of all scared. She followed after them. When they had reached the border, he turned on them both. It was two-to-one, but he was a brillant fighter. It didn't take long for Ironstep to kill them both. She didn't stay after that. She ran back to camp and told Celestialstar everything before her brother could return. When he returned with their bodies, he was sentenced to exile. He left with no regret. But Camelliabreeze was even more sad, and she cried harder. She became withdrawn, and no one, not even her sister, could coax her out. camelliabreeze [medicine cat];Camelliabreeze was more quiet than ever. She was so depressed, she was ready to commit suicide. But one thing saved her, and that was Starclan. The night she planned on commiting suicide, a dream came to her from Starclan. She saw her parents, and Rubypaw. They told her that she had followed the path of a warrior long enough. Now, she must travel a different one: she must become a medicine cat. Camelliabreeze was all too happy to her that. She hated being a warrior, ever since Ironstep was exiled. When she woke up in the morning, she was like a kit. She ran to the leader's den to tell the news. Celestialstar seemed to tell that this was the right thing, so she began to train as a medicine cat. She became kind and gentle again. Not too long after she had learned most everything she needed to know about being a medicine cat, the previous medicine cat, Dreamcloud, died. Camelliabreeze was sad again, but this time she knew she needed to recover for the sake of her clan. She stepped up to the challenge of being medicine cat, and she still is now. the ones i bring close...or notmother; Lilypetal deceased father; Spectercloak deceased sisters; Lavendersprig. Rubypaw deceased brother; Ironstep whereabouts unknown medicine cat mentor; Dreamcloud deceased rp sample[This is an RP sample I made on WCv2 to audition for Ptarmigankit. I got her, but I have no idea if she's still mine, since I never go on there anymore.][/i] Ptarmigankit slowly opened her eyes. Cold daylight shone inside the nursery. Craning her neck, she saw that her white fur was aglow in the sunlight. She rolled away from it to hide the brightness. She stood up, stretching her clumsy limbs, one by one. She looked over to her mother. She lie peacefully asleep still, and Abysskit was still curled by Featherdance's belly. Runekit must've already awoken. She pattered outside. A couple lazy orange leaves floated by. She stopped for a moment to pounce on them. She cried out in triumph. A couple of warriors across the clearing looked at her for a moment before continuing to talk quietly. She flushed a little in embrassment. Before she could go back to the nursery, Runekit jumped out of the ferns and surprised her. Ptarmigankit squealed loudly, and Runekit let out a loud laugh. Caught you there, sis! Ptarmigankit immediately calmed down when she recognized her sister. Oh, it's you. She gave her a smile. You scared me there for a moment. Runekit shrugged. Then, she looked around to make sure no snooping warriors were around. She lowered her voice, and whispered. Hey, I've got a great idea! Wanna come explore the forest with me? Ptarmigankit's eyes widened. Why? We'll be able to go when we're apprentices. I'm not sure it's a good idea. What if one of us gets hurt? Then we'll be in pain, and be punished! She worriedly pawwed the ground. Please don't go. Runekit shook her head. No! I wanna go! At least I'll have fun! Runekit dropped the snotty tone. I mean, I'm sorry you don't wanna go. Just...I'll be fine, okay?! And without another word, Runekit walked toward the camp wall, to escape for a while, leaving Ptarmigankit to look after her dissapearing form worriedly.[/size][/blockquote]

[[I'll have a bash.]]
they call me Paintedwind
i was dubbed a she-cat
i have walked the world for 48 moons
my destiny is with RainClan
i walk the path of a Medicine Cat?
at a glance i am A small calico with startling bright green eyes
see me I am a slim, small she-cat. The long, glossy pelt that cloaks me has a base colour of pure, snowy white. I step into a pool of moonlight and take on an angelic appearance, shining and sparkling demurely. On top of the glossy sheen of white is a fiery tan, patched across my pelt alongside a dark, bramble colour and pure, jet black. I am a compact she-cat, and could easily be mistaken for an apprentice if it wasn't for my rather stocky shoulders. My legs are of a normal length, but look shorter on me because my long fur fills me out. All four of my paws are the same sparklingly clean white as my chest and underbelly. My fur is soft to touch and has a silky sheen to it. My tail is long and fluffy, and is patchwork across the top, snowy underneath. My claws, at the unlikely time that they are unsheathed, are long and silvery, able to slit into flesh like a knife into butter, but put to better use shredding herb leaves and taking berries off their stems. My muzzle is long and fox like, ending with a pale pink nose outlined almost as if an artist had picked up a paintbrush, daubed it in liquid midnight and painted round it as carefully as he could. My whiskers curl slightly as they protrude from my cheeks. My large, clear eyes are a vivid shade of green. Encased in the slivers of colour are dark caverns known as my pupils, growing and shrinking to take in just enough light to let me see the full beauty of the world around. My ears are slightly large and are permenantly searching for sounds I may have missed, birds calling in the distance, bubbling brooks chattering merrily. The roar of a monster on the Thunderpath. Altogether I am quite a pretty she-cat, if I do say so myself. I do not try hard to enhance my looks, but I tend not to get too messed up in the first place. This does not mean in the slightest that I do not work hard; I try my hardest for the Clan and everything associated to it.
hear me I am a compassionate cat, caring and friendly. I am the type of cat that listens when talked to, and gives advice when wanted. I like to listen to other cats' problems, and aid them in the right direction. I don't get het up a lot, but when I do it's in a silent way, choosing to ignore the cause rather than to face it. I stay cool in most situations, silently mulling over the problem in my head and trying to find a solution. If I'm concentrating hard I tend to block out everything around me and work on the thing in front of me. I am a friendly cat, and get along with everyone. I don't hold grudges, if everyone did that where would we be? I love nothing more than hunting for herbs, and in my spare time I like to experiment with herbs. I don't mind getting my paws dirty, as long as it's for a worthwhile cause. The only thing that really riles me is when someone kicks up a fuss for no reason. When cats become like that I simply ignore them, focussing on the real problems. I hate to see cats in pain, even if the cat isn't from my Clan. If there is a battle raging I will give my care and knowledge to any cat that asks for it. I have never thought about having a mate, or kits, because I knew medicine was my calling since I still had my kitten fur. Never before have I resorted to violence, but if one cat ever pushed me far enough, the tiger inside me would bare its ugly head. I keep my den in pristeen condition, being my home and like to keep the herbs in their places. I hate untidyness, and will often remind the apprentices the elder den needs new bedding. My favourite thing to do is visit new life in the nursery. It always gives me a warm feeling inside to step through the nursery entrance and smell the warm kitten scent that surrounds it. I always pay special attention to the queens, as I would hate anything to go wrong during the pregnancy. I think I am an all round gentle cat, and strive to keep my Clan happy and well.
know me I was born on a warm summer night, the sky blanketed with stars twinkling above me. The night had seemed so perfect- the opposite to the birth. It was a long, hard birthing, my mother told me when I was older. There were three kits including me, but only two survived. The third didn't survive even being named. Then there was me- Paintedkit, because of my patchwork pelt, and my brother, Riverkit, because of his startling blue gray pelt. My mother, Fleetingcry, was so proud, and loved her kits dearly. Our father, Goldenthroat, was a proud father and visited us regularly. He knew that we were going to grow to be strong warriors. He couldn't imagine us taking any other route, and went into denial when I started helping the medicine cat when nursery play was too rough. Other kits laughed at me for not wanting to play fight, but I didn't want to fight, even if it was just a game. My father tried to talk me out of things and my mother told him to hush up. They fought over me and I felt terrible for putting them through this. I tried to be 'normal' and play fight like the rest of the kits but then they complained that I didn't do it right. My mother told me that whatever I did she would always be proud of me, but my father didn't want his child being a medicine cat. He wanted to make the Clan strong with his bloodlines. Before I was apprenticed, the medicine cat, Bramblewhisker, asked how I felt about my future. I told him the truth- that I didn't want to be violent and felt something calling me to the path of a medicine cat. Bramblewhisker asked me how I would feel about becoming his apprentice and I agreed readily, feeling that it was the right choice for me. Goldenthroat was dissapointed, but the my mother talked to him about how a medicine cat tributed to the Clan in more ways than just healing. He finally came to accept that this was my destiny and congratulated me on my achievements. He always favoured my brother, at this time known as Riverpaw, and would often come along to his training sessions and give him advice. This would irritate Sandmask, his mentor, and they often fought in front of the Clan about it. Goldenthroat was a burly tom and Sandmask was a bit of a runt, so Goldenthroat could beat him easily. This way my father gained a lot of enemies in the Clan. In one certain battle he was killed by a bite to the back of the neck, but onlookers swore that it was a puny, lithe tom that killed him, a tome that smelled of RiverClan. Sandmask was killed early too, by a badger. My apprenticeship was filled with the ups and downs of life. I loved learning about all the different herbs and their uses, but would get so annoyed with myself when my bad memory caused me to forget the tiniest things. I would get so het up and angry with myself and bramblewhisker would often give me 'time-outs' when I was to walk my problems off. Funnily enough this helped immensely, and Bramblewhisker gave me an exercise to do while I was walking. I was to recite herb names and their uses until I came to the one I had forgotten, then I would have to find some of that herb and bring it back to camp. This would normally trigger some scent or memory in which I had used the herb and why I had used it. Bramblewhisker was a very caring mentor, always praising me. I learned so much from him and when he died instantly from the blow of a Monster I was so upset. I knew I had to stay strong though and by this time I had come very far in my training. I would remember the days with Brramblewhisker when I forgot something, and it gave me great pleasure to be following in his footsteps. My mother lived to an old age and passed away peacefully in her sleep. We were very close and when she died I felt a great sense of loss, but knew that she had had a great life. Riverpaw- now Riverstone- was very close to me and he helped me with herb collecting when he wasn't too busy. I am now very close to all of the Clan and love to listen to the elders stories, however kit-like this trait may be. I only dream of doing my best for the Clan and striving to do my best.
