[{I don't know if I should be RPing yet but I'll go ahead and post. Tell me if I'm not supposed to so that I can take it down. =)}]
The sun was high and bright, though its warming rays didn't seem to be able to reach the earth, where chill winds blew frequently. In the thick woods little got through though. It is true that here and there a beam of light made its way through the tangle of tree branches overhead, but only infrequently did wind make it to where one of the many large pine trees stood.
This pine tree looked much like the other trees around it, but if one looked closer they could see honey slipping down it. The golden tan honey slid down and onto the ground, where it rose up, showing that it was indeed a cat.
This cat was on the smaller side, but one could easily tell that he had fought more than once. His chest was of the purest white and that white made its way to cover his belly. Orbs of gold flashed as the tomcat glanced around, opening his mouth slightly to taste the cold air.
Cats. I must be getting closer. The tom glanced over his shoulder and then began trotting forward, strong muscles rippling under his short pelt. As he walked, a shard of sunlight passed over him, showing many scars on his lithe body. Again he looked over his shoulder and shivered, as though he were worried about something. As he moved forward again his pace was quicker, and he kept his mouth opened a little, as if he were desperately trying to find something.
Fiend![/b]
The tom jumped and whirled around as he heard his name called. His ears caught the sound of cats, yes, more than one. He gulped and turned to run desperatly, he knew that if he were caught he would regret every minute of it. He felt hot breath on his back and then a pain in his tail as something bit down on it. Fiend let out a yowl of anger and pain before turning to bat the large tom that held him, claws extended. The other tom let go, but now there were four cats to be seen circling Fiend. All were great hulking brutes, cold and heartless. Fiend arched his back and drew his lips back in a furious snarl, daring any of the cats to fight him. One took his dare and soon the pair were wrestling on the ground, a growling and hissing mass.
Soon the cat that had taken the challenge fled, and two more jumped in to take his place. The original tom, the one that had bitten his tail, looked on witha growl, 'I'll kill you for leaving.'[/size]
