seek me; Cedarshadow
call me; Male
i'll be waiting; 47 moons
this distance; Rain
this dissolution; Warrior
i cling to memories while falling; Sleek, black-blotched, brown tom with mysterious gray eyes and a belligerant, unyielding expression
sleep brings release;
His appearance--sleek fur, old scars, hardened pads--give the evidence of his age, but nothing can be compared to his eyes, the way they gleam, glitter, and shine at the sound of war. His unearthly eyes, his smiling eyes, his eyes that are the color of a hurricane cloud at its peak: swirls of monochromatic gray with hints of black and white. We shall begin on his physical description, from top to bottom. His paws, colored of tawny and burnt-sienna, are rather small but they provide excellent support to inflict the strength of the muscles hidden in his legs. His paws stretch upward into his lengthy limbs, striped and banded with black and tawny. One can see the muscles straining and rippling in each long bound and run. Cedarshadow’s forelegs rise to become his shoulders that then arch into his spine, which, in turn, runs past his back legs into a willowy tail that is mostly black.
His tawny and sable-blotched neck leads into his mostly-golden head, of normal size. Streaks of ochre lead to his muzzle and his nose, a button-sized thing the color of fresh dirt. Cedarshadow’s stormy irises lay above his snout, narrowed and rimmed in orange-red striping.
Cedarshadow's blotched pelt (for which he was named) is short and silky, gleaming in any light available. It’s a orangey-brown and black, like the wood of a cedar. This brownish tone grows more fiery on his chest and face, seemingly like a sunset. Puddles of ink spray over Cedarshadow‘s fur, in patterns that resemble those of rivers or wraiths.
and the hope of a new day;
Cedarshadow rarely trusts loners unless you have proven yourself, and his compliments are rarely given. However, if they are, consider yourself to be honored. He likes practicing fighting techniques and would love to fight someone who he believes can give him ‘a beautiful death‘. He will take advantage of any opportunity to do so. However, Cedarshadow is very honorable. If someone helps him out, he will not hesitate to repay the offer. Cedarshadow tries not to gain enemies by showing great respect to those he had fought, but he is cunning, fierce, fearless and strong. He will do whatever it takes to survive. He believes everyone should be firmly yet justly disciplined, and Cedarshadow does not tolerate derogatory comments about other Clan cats, for they should be respected. However, he has a tendency to be belligerent and will not hesitate going to war if called to do so. He tends to be hasty, and rude and crude. Cedarshadow likes catmint and profane language [not Twoleg profanities], but is honorable in his own way. He is considered to be a brick wall in many respects, relentless and fearsome
waking the misery of being without you;
Flame and Cloud of Aurora's faithful had been friends since they were kits and now that they were warriors, they couldn't wait to declare their love for the world. Ignoring the rules of their parents (who were feuding at the time because of an insult towards Aurora), Cloud became pregnant with Flame's kits. Happiness could not be the definate word for what they felt. However, secrets didn't hold forever as Cloud's sister, Rabbit, told their parents what had occurred. Furious, Cloud's parents tried to have Flame killed (for Aurora's honor, of course!). Told to flee by Flame, Cloud ran to RainClan and promptly began kitting, bearing five toms: Smoke, Night, Rain, Cedar, and Sinister. Cloud later received word that Rabbit had been killed by Flame because of Rabbit's treachery. In return, Flame was put to death, as part of Aurora's will. This left Cloud in a period of displacement and mourning.
RainClan accepted the four kits (for Smokekit had died at birth) into apprenticeship, giving Cedarpaw a she-cat mentor by the name of Hollywing. Hollywing was a slow and gentle teacher, doing whatever it took to make sure Cedarpaw understood everything she taught. It was during accessment that Cedarpaw witnessed a terrible deed: the dictatorship of Rainpaw's mentor Rockscar that drove his brother to suicide. Cedarpaw vowed never ever to act like that when he became a mentor.
When Nightpaw, Cedarpaw, and Sinisterpaw became Nightwind, Cedarshadow, and Sinisterfog, they were the typical party-boy trio that got all the ladies and drove all the parents mad. Nightwind was the badboy, Cedarshadow was the fierce knight, and Sinisterfog was the incubus that seemed to have a new mate every moon.
Cedarshadow received his first apprentice when he was thirty moons, a tom by the name of Galaxypaw. He taught the know-it-all apprentice much there is to know about fighting, respect, and honor, seeing to it that Galaxypaw became a warrior in his twelfth moon. His second apprentice, at thirty-nine moons, was a she-cat named Troutpaw, a strong-shouldered female who could have been his daughter they were so close in personality. Troutpaw became Troutcatcher in her twelfth moon.
Cedarshadow has had no mate, unlike his pimp-daddy brothers who seem to think baby-mamma drama is just an elder's tale. He hasn't found someone to care for yet.
