See but a fraction of this young cat's body, and you may begin to think that you are gazing upon a piece of the sky. But move your head slightly, and you will see the cat himself. Peacockpaw pads on four small paws, these delicate and swift as a bird's wings. Though these paws seem innocent enough, hidden within are four sets of strong claws. These slate-grey hooks are capable of shredding flesh and fury; do not underestimate them. Peacockpaw's paws arch upward into long, slender legs, these adding to his agility. His legs then mould upward into two flat lumps of bone - his shoulders. These aid his movement, making it perfectly liquid, but do not posess much strength. Peacockpaw's shoulders slide backward into a dipped spine and back, which in turn becomes his hindquarters. His tail falls from his spine like a torrent of water. It moves almost like a jet of water, with perfect grace. Peacockpaw's muzzle is slightly longer and more angular than the usual cat of his age. It tapers to a small point, on which his nose, a dull blue colour, is situated. His eyes, two narrow almond-shapes, sit above his muzzle. The pupils are wide black strips, and the pools of colour a beautiful indigo. They contain many hidden thoughts - be assured, you will never know.
Peacockpaw owns a beautiful coat. It is short and thin, but very soft. It is fairly long, but not so long that he could be dubbed longhaired. It is especially lengthly on his stomach, and the insides of his limbs. His tail is a brush of feathery hairs. Peacockpaw's coat is a pretty, light blue-grey colour. The balance of colour is tipped slightly more towards the blue. This beautiful hue is covered by dapples of darker slate-grey. His paws and tail tip, as well as a secyion of his chest and muzzle, ate snowy white. The backs of his ears as pale grey. Peacockpaw's tail is ringed in dark blue-grey stripes, tapering to the pure white point.

Never have you met such a cat as Peacockpaw. The grace of his movement seems to come from a spillage inside. He is an immensely calm, and calming cat. He has a soft voice that is rarely raised in a yowl or shout. He does not seem capable of being unfair, and is extremely sensible. He is brilliant at defusing arguments and soothing broken cats, even those older than himself. Peacockpaw is sneered at by some cats, though in truth many of them are jealous of his unfased, polite attitude. Insults cannot touch him. Peacockpaw hates violence, and believes that any situation can be solved peacefully. Though this means he dislikes fighting, he will go into combat for his clan. He is fiercely loyal to RainClan, and would die for them without question. He is ready to serve a life-sentence to them, for StarClan and the warrior code, Peacockpaw has many peculiar beliefs, but loyally sticks to StarClan like a burr. Many ordinary things interest Peacockpaw; a drifting feather, or a strangely-shaped cloud. He is looked upon as the dreamer of the clan, and has many medicine cat-like qualities, though he wishes for nothing more than to serve his clan as a warrior.

Swaydance was an odd young she-cat. She had come to RainClan as a young kit, having been abandoned by her kittypet mother and rogue father. She had strange beliefs and peculiar ways. But the RainClanners found that, after a few moons, she had an eye for herbs. Swaypaw was made the medicine cat apprentice, and, seasons later, the medicine cat. Swaydance was furiously loyal to her calling, though she secretly had a crush on a tom of her clan. His name was Hiddenbreath, and he had befriended Swaydance after a near-death experience with Greencough. Swaydance confessed her feelings to the tom when she could no longer hold them inside. Though the warrior initially had misgivings, he too loved the medicine cat, and agreed to become mates in secret.
Swaydance knew trouble was coming when she felt body change. Being a medicine cat, she knew that she was pregnant from the aches and pains. She told Hiddenbreath, who was delighted, though he understood the problem. Swaydance told her apprentice, a trustworthy tom named Keypaw, that she had to go away for a time, and not to tell any cat that she had told him. Swaydance felt RainClan, not forever, but long enough for her stomach to swell. Hiddenbreath visited her often, bringing her fresh kill and looking after her. But it was midnight when Swaydance awoke in agony. StarClan was punishing her for her treachery. She gave birth to a single living kit, though she died before it could nurse.
The following morning, Hiddenbreath slipped out of camp to find his mate. He was horrified to discovered her limp, blood-soaked body, and the cold body of a kit. Upon closer inspection he realised that his son was not dead. Hiddenbreath took the kitten back to RainClan, and told his leader that he had found him in the forest. But Hiddenbreath had never been a good lier, and eventually the RainClanners discovered what he had done. In fury, they drove him out, though they let the kit stay - it was innocent. Warriors later found Hiddenbreath's body floating in the river; he had taken his own life.
The kit was given to Hiddenbreath's sister, Fatevoice, to nurse. Fatevoice loved the kit and treated him as her own, as her own daughters had perished early in their lives. She named the kitten Peacockkit for his colourful blue pelt. Peacockkit was fairly popular in the nursery due to his calm, relaxed nature and easy words. He grew up in a friendly enviroment, as the RainClanners did not blame him for what had transpired between Swaydance and Hiddenbreath. On his sixth moon, Peacockpaw was made an apprentice, but his mentor, Addertongue, was killed by a fox soon after his ceremony. Peacockpaw now waits for the day we will be granted a new mentor.
